We do not guarantee meetings or representation. Whether an agent decides to meet with you comes down to your training, experience, look, the quality of your materials, and honestly a bit of timing and luck.
What Get Repped does is take the legwork out of the process. Your emails are sent directly from your own email account, every message is personalised, and our tracking tools show you exactly who opened your email and clicked your links so you can follow up with the right people at the right time. We give you the best shot at standing out, but the rest is down to you and your craft.
We strongly recommend against it. The vast majority of professional casting in the UK goes through Spotlight, and in most cases an agent or casting director will not consider you without an active Spotlight profile.
Get Repped is designed for professional actors. Before using the platform, you should have an active Spotlight profile and professional headshots at a minimum. If you're currently graduating from an accredited drama school, that's also a great time to start using the platform.
The actors who see the best results tend to have a few things in place before they start their outreach. A Spotlight profile with at least 3 professional credits gives agents something concrete to assess. Up-to-date professional headshots are essential as they're the first thing an agent will look at. A clean, well-shot showreel can make a real difference in showcasing what you can do.
Beyond your materials, how you use the platform matters too. If you're currently in or have an upcoming show, inviting agents through Get Repped is an effective strategy. Personalising your outreach, sending in batches rather than all at once, and following up with agents who engaged with your material all increase your chances of making a genuine connection.
Absolutely! Get Repped is designed to be user friendly and intuitive. All the technical work happens behind the scenes, so you can focus on what matters most, writing a standout cover letter and selecting the agents or casting directors you want to reach.
We’ve made the process simple and straightforward, ensuring that anyone, regardless of technical experience, can easily navigate the platform.
However you like! But here are some tips based on what we've seen work best:
Send in batches, not all at once. Sending in smaller batches lets you use the tracking features properly. You can see who opened your email, who clicked your links, and follow up with the right people. Send everything at once and you miss all of that.
Don't email every agent at an agency. Pick one or two agents whose roster fits you and reach out to them first. Agents share promising submissions internally, so emailing everyone at the same agency at once just loses the personal touch. If you don't hear back, you can always try another agent there later.
Use your Strategy Review. We look at a lot of Spotlight profiles and outreach emails, so we know what works and what doesn't. Having someone review your materials and help shape your approach has made a real difference for our users. Don't skip it.
Nope. Your credits never expire. Use them at your own pace, take a break, come back in a few months, they'll still be there.
No. Get Repped is a one-time purchase. You pick a package, get your email credits, and use them whenever you're ready. No recurring payments, no monthly fees, no surprises.
Get Repped uses OAuth technology to securely connect with your email account. However, this also means we can only support email providers that offer OAuth integration, currently Gmail and Outlook/Hotmail/Live accounts.
Unfortunately, older email providers like icloud, Yahoo, AOL, BTInternet, and similar services either don't support OAuth or have limited compatibility, which prevents us from offering secure integration with those platforms.
What are your options?
We prioritize your security and email deliverability, which is why we've built our platform around these modern, secure authentication methods.
We’ve made it easy by categorizing our agent list into three tiers:
1. Top-Tier Agencies – These agencies are highly competitive and typically receive hundreds of emails each month. We recommend applying only if you’re about to graduate from an accredited drama school or have professional experience to showcase. To stand out, you’ll need to bring something unique to the table.
2. Boutique Agencies – These mid- to high-level agencies are known for nurturing talent and often keep their books relatively small. They’re always open to submissions from new actors and provide a great balance of personal attention and industry connections.
3. Up-and-Coming Agents – Perfect if you’re looking for your first agent or are open to working with someone newer to the industry. These boutique agencies have opened in recent years and are actively seeking fresh talent, regardless of experience level.
To help you decide, our database includes direct links to agents’ current rosters (where available). This allows you to see if you offer something new that aligns with their client base.
Due to the digital nature of Get Repped and the fact that you gain immediate access to our database and email tools upon purchase, we do not offer refunds once any part of a package has been used. This includes sending any emails, accessing the database, or using any of the included features.
If you have purchased a package and have not used any part of it, you may be eligible for a refund on a case-by-case basis if requested within 30 days of purchase. To make a request, email support@getrepped.co.uk.
Full details of our refund policy can be found in our Terms of Service. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
An acting agent represents you as a performer. They help you find auditions, negotiate contracts, and guide your career. Agents typically have connections with casting directors and production companies, working to get you in front of the right people.
A casting director, on the other hand, is hired by producers to find the right actors for specific roles in a production. They organize auditions, review submissions, and make casting decisions. While they don’t represent actors, they work closely with agents and directly with actors during the casting process.
Get Repped is built for professional actors at all stages of their career, from those about to graduate from drama school through to experienced performers looking for new representation. You don't need decades of credits, but you do need to be serious about your career and have the basics in place.
At a minimum, you should have an active Spotlight profile and professional headshots. If you're currently graduating from an accredited drama school, that's a great time to start reaching out. Our database includes Up-and-Coming agents who are actively looking for fresh talent, so there are opportunities regardless of where you are in your career, as long as your materials are professional and ready.
Absolutely! In fact, it’s a great idea to start building relationships with agents and casting directors early in your career. Many drama students have successfully used Get Repped to introduce themselves to the industry and invite agents to their school shows and showcases. It’s a proactive way to get on their radar before you graduate.
Yes! Get Repped provides live metrics, allowing you to see when your emails are opened and what links were clicked. This gives you insight into how your outreach is performing, helping you decide when and how to follow up.
For Outlook users: We have implemented a 50 email per day limit. This is to ensure your account remains in good standing with Microsoft. Outlook monitors sending patterns, and exceeding their recommended limits can result in your account being flagged for spam or temporarily suspended. By keeping within this limit, we protect your email deliverability and ensure your messages reach agents and casting directors reliably.
For Gmail users: There is no daily send limit imposed by Get Repped. However, we strongly recommend sending your emails in batches rather than all at once. This allows you to make full use of Get Repped's tracking features, giving you time to analyze open rates and engagement. It also enables you to adjust your outreach strategy between batches based on what's working, helping you maximize your chances of success.
The daily limit resets at midnight, giving you a fresh allocation each day.
No, Get Repped will never ask for sensitive private information like your email password. Our platform securely automates the process of sending your emails on your behalf, using encrypted oauth credentials, just connect your Google/Microsoft account and you are set. This way, your emails are sent professionally and efficiently without requiring direct access to your personal accounts. All you need to do is focus on crafting your message and selecting your recipients!
Yes, but only if your custom domain is hosted through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. These are the only providers we support, as they use the same secure OAuth technology as standard Gmail and Outlook accounts.
If you're using a custom domain like yourname@yourdomain.com that's set up through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, simply reach out to us at support@getrepped.co.uk with your email address. We'll configure your account to support your custom domain, and you'll be able to use Get Repped just like any other user.
Please note: Custom domains hosted on other providers (such as private email servers, Zoho, or ProtonMail) are not supported, as they don't use compatible OAuth authentication.
What a fantastic position to be in! Any responses from agents or casting directors will go directly to your email, outside of Get Repped. Once you start receiving requests, the best next step is to arrange a meeting with the agent to get to know each other better and discuss how you can potentially work together.
Firstly don’t be discouraged, agents receive many submissions. If you don’t hear back after a few weeks, it’s appropriate to follow up with a polite email. If they’re not currently seeking new clients, keep building your experience and consider applying again in the future.
Also be sure to use our Request Strategy Review feature where we will take a look at your approach / spotlight profile / materials and offer constructive advice into ways you might improve your outreach.
Currently, we’re focused on supporting UK-based actors, but we’re always exploring ways to expand in the future. Keep an eye on our updates, as we may extend our services to other regions soon!
